Medium-sized company is looking for a dynamic marketing professional with versatile skills able to handle a varied portfolio – managing several websites, social media presence, CRM, pricelists and launch a new bag brand into the market. The Marketing Manager is responsible for all areas of the marketing strategy of the company, from the development of different elements to their execution. This will include anything from conducting market research to organising the distribution of literature, or helping to organise an event. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the various company websites, other social media marketing tools and managing enquiries generated by visitors to the website. They will also be responsible for the maintenance of the company CRM and pricelist administration. Duties and Responsibilities Implementation of related marketing strategies resulting in increased client base, and recurring quality instructions Preparing and management of annual marketing budget Conducting market research, developing and implementing marketing plans and strategies to launch and grow Caterpillar Bag Brand and other brands. Monitoring competitor activity Writing and editing sales and marketing literature, ensuring valid, current and accurate content. Maintain the company websites and manage customer enquiries generated from the websites. Keep website up to date with relevant new developments and information (Including preparing of write-ups) On-going management of add words utilisation and budget. Consider monthly report by Website management agency and give feedback to the Board on same Responsible for e-marketing and the Company presence on other social media, such as developing and updating Facebook pages, ensuring search engine optimisation for CAT and other company products and website, blogging etc. Write and distribute press releases and produce media kits where required. Act as liaison between advertising agencies and the company, print suppliers, freelance talent, and various marketing services. Provide assistance in terms of logistics to events like distributor meetings, seminars, exhibitions and trade shows. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of on-going marketing communications activities Ensure maintenance of CRM system, pricelists and prices are up to date. Person Specification Excellent English written and verbal communication skills are essential. Web maintenance / e-marketing experience, with a good working knowledge of social media marketing tools, Google rankings and search engine optimization is desirable Able to demonstrate product awareness and an understanding of the needs of the Customer Able to work individually as well as part of a team Good time management and planning skills Is able to meet multiple project deadlines and demonstrate good attention to detail Able to demonstrate knowledge of marketing principles Experience of Adobe Photoshop or Corel would be advantageous Job Type: Full-time Salary: R18,000.00 /month Required experience: Required education:
