PwC Paarl is currently recruiting for a SAIPA trainee to join their dynamic team in January 2017.
The ideal candidate should:
1. Have completed or be in the process of completing their accounting degree with a recognised institution
2. Be willing to enter into a 3 year training contract and eventually qualify as a Professional Accountant
3. Have a valid driver’s license
4. Must be proficient in Afrikaans and English
5. Salary market related

Duties:
· Processing of data
· Reconciliations
· Bookkeeping of Trial Balance
· Drafting of Financial Statements
· Perform general accounting functions
· Completion of IT12/14 forms
· Completion of VAT returns
Competencies/ Skills: · Good communication skills
· Fluent in English and Afrikaans
· Computer literate – good knowledge of Pastel, Ms Word and Excel
· Must be able to work under pressure
· Sound administration skills
· Must be able to work overtime when necessary
· Must have own transport
Trainees will have the opportunity to fulfill the full accounting function while attaining all competencies set out by SAIPA.
