iLAB offers IT graduates from universities and universities of technology, with no working experience, an opportunity to apply for an Internship Programme in order to gain work related experience in the Software Testing and Quality Assurance industry and to build a career in these disciplines.

iLAB’s Internship Programme is a paid, 12 month fixed-term, full-time contract. Starting monthly stipend is R 6 000. After successful completion of every quarter the monthly stipend increases.

Our ideal candidate has an eye for detail, passion for the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry, is driven, a team player, highly motivated, goal orientated, professional and diligent and displays a high work ethic. Based in Woodmead (Gauteng) or Century City (Western Cape), iLAB is committed to hone and develop these individuals’ skills using theory and practical experience.


The applicant must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a graduate in the ICT industry
  • Must be 20 to 29 years old
  • Must have at least a D average for Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) in grade 12
  • Must have no work experience in software testing or quality assurance fields
  • Must not register for any other Internships / Learnerships
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English well
  • Must be a South African citizen

An application must include the following:

  • Application form (follow instructions at the end of this document to obtain the application form)
  • Digital colour photograph
  • A one page covering letter stating motivation to join the programme
  • Condensed Curriculum Vitae (maximum 2 pages)
  • Certified copy of ID document
  • Certified copy of Matric Certificate
  • Certified copy of full academic record (first year – final year)
  • Certified copy of degree or diploma
  • Divulge all study plans for next year Please note we are only looking for disabled candidates.
