Role Description:
Position – Junior HR Consultant
Location Durban

Contract – 24 months Skills and Experience:
Consolidate and analyse TPL’s remuneration data for correctness and alignment to Remuneration guidelines/rules for
various reward models .
Calculation of bonus/incentive payment, in conjunction with senior manager, for Bargaining Unit, G level and Management
level employees, in accordance with the required/stipulated percentage given by Transnet Group.
Supports Recruitment and Selection by compiling/preparing remuneration statements for new/transferred candidates
Administer, communicate and implementation of various components of a company’s pay and rewards programmes includingbase pay, incentive bonuses, performance management and recognition programmes.
Annual remuneration review and calculations of salary increases and incentive bonuses in conjunction with senior manager.
Quarterly review and calculations of gain share payments.
Provide comprehensive administration and analytical support for the variety of remuneration policies and procedures from a
national perspective.
Undertake performance and reward presentations/training to TPL employees on aspects pertaining to performance and
reward processes, procedures and methodologies.
Maintain performance management system by quality assuring the contents of Scorecards against the business plan and
ensuring that reviews are completed timeously and accurately.
Develop graphs to ascertain trends in the various departments in TPL’s performance, using employees’ performance
scorecards and to highlight areas of concern that requires remedial action.
Prepare job documents, RFS forms, coordinate job documents/descriptions, database and tables related to job
codes/categories and job families.
Maintain Organisation Structures, positions, organisation units etc. and ensuring that there is proper alignment between
Organisation Management Administration in SAP
Access and utilisation of SAP OM and Performance Management and provide accurate information for various reports.
Qualifications Experience :
1. Matric Exemption
2.B Soc Sc Industrial Psychology / B Com (Information System or Management )
- or B Tech in Human Resources.
- .Certification course in Global Remuneration will be an advantage. 3. Drivers Licence
4.Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access Word). 5.Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage
