About the role
An exciting career opportunity is available for a Key Accounts Executive – (Mauritius Madagascar) within Africa Sales Expansion based in RB South Africa.
The Key Account Manager’s overall objective is to develop and implement the sales strategy per customer in alignment with strategic objectives (NR, Gross Margin, NWC), and to manage the customer relationship on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities and
Principal Accountabilities
- Responsible for achieving strategic objectives per customer – i.e. NR, Gross Margin, NWC
- Building long term partnership with the customer
- Responsible for the promotional strategy per customer, and promotional execution (including trade budget management, range and space
optimization) - Negotiations in relation to Reckitt Benckiser customer trading terms
- Category strategy per customer
- Responsible for implementing customer new product launch plans and ensuring successful implementation
- Continuous improvement in the management of the account by identifying opportunities for efficiency and profitability and overall
improvement in the management of categories - Maintenance of monthly forecasts and communication of the same to demand planning and sales managers to ensure optimum inventory and service levels to distributors
- Procurement of Orders from Distributors and Key Accounts based on agreed forecast’
- Monitor weekly shipments against plans to suggest corrective actions for any shortfalls
- Optimum shipping efficiencies (full container lots, drop shipment opportunities, etc.)
- Ensure efficient and effective RB manufacturing facility globally
- Monthly analysis of in market executional activities and communication of results to Sales Managers and suggest corrective execution activities
- Ensure payment within agreed timeframe
- Ensure corrective activities to ensue agreed stock level targets are achieved
- Lead swop process for AE team
- Responsible for all exports management and support AE Director
