Report directly to marketing director.

  • Manage all marketing initiatives for the company, get complete understanding of company, target markets (and what drives them and how to promote to them), industry, competitors (competitor analysis)
  • Be in touch with the daily goings on within the business and promote accordingly
  • Drive PR – research current news and trends within the marketplace, develop media relationships, Develop media release plan and strategy, write press releases, launch press releases to the media every two to three weeks, follow up results.
  • Be on the pulse with any opportunities to promote the company and / or it’s directors
  • Develop social media strategy, manage social media posts and responses daily, synergize on different social media platforms Facebook Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn daily, drive competitions and promotions through social media
  • Synergise daily posts with website and blog
  • Develop and maintain front-end of website, update website periodically. maintain relationship with tech providers, brief and manage design and development of site
  • Promote and develop site Google ad words, SEO and online advertising
  • Run and manage bi-weekly blog
  • Facilitate the development of a mobile app
  • Manage and develop all company marketing material, coordinate content, design, copy and production
  • Cement strategic partnerships on a micro level in and around geographic vicinity, localised advertising, radio and PR, promotions within communities
  • Manage classified advertising in various newspapers
  • Project manage events, roadshows and in-store marketing drives and promotions
  • Maintain brand CI and image in the marketplace Set up template for presentations and proposals
  • Write and develop presentations and proposals
  • Manage production of video shoots, editing and animation
  • Manage promos on TV
  • Training material production, on-line video and manual

Requirements

  • Marketing degree essential
  • Experience in corporate marketing department – minimum five years’ essential
  • Experience in mobile, social and digital marketing – essential
  • Experience in PR – essential
  • Congenial with experience with dealing with clients and multiple stakeholders
  • Management of budgets
  • Manage delivery of suppliers
  • Work under pressure with tight deadlines
