The Procurement Officer is part of a team focused on the management of construction and service contracts during the execution of projects;
Project Delivery:
- Actively participate in and contribute to the technical aspects of projects so that projects are delivered on time and on budget.
- Escalate issues or problems where appropriate.
- Maintain good communication and cooperate with all team members.
- Promote a healthy climate of communication including information sharing.
- Find opportunities to cooperate with members of other groups.
- Assist and mentor junior procurement staff.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ procurement experience.
- Transnet experience.
- NEC experience.
- Suitable qualification.
Preferred Qualifications Relevant qualification.
