-Drive Growth in South Africa and East/West Africa Region.
-Develop current Distributors in Place and appoint new Distributors at Tier 1 and Tier 2 level.
-Perform Market research in selected countries.
-Evaluate any new Business development opportunity.
-Train distributors on Turbochargers knowledge.
-Develop and launch local marketing plans.
– Daily visiting Tier2 customers w./ MD or by own and report market trends and key opportunities to develop.
– Research South Africa economy trend, focused on IAM Parts Turbos industry and report monthly.
– Research study South Africa and East/West Africa Carparc population details by country and report accordingly.
– Research Share of Demand by country counterfeit competition and report regularly.
– Develop Potential new Master Distributors in Africa. Evaluate all potential candidates and report accordingly.
– Potential new Tier2 development with Master Distributor in the country.
– South Africa and Africa TS Sales representative for all new small OE opportunities to identify and pursue.
– Define Customer Marketing Plan by country, develop local approach and launch.
– Application Engineering support to Tier2 customers thru visiting.
– Holding quarterly Training sessions for Tier 1 and Tier 2s in selected countries.
– Initial action and quality issue communication to internal quality team.
Qualifications
-BS Degree and extensive applicable experience (10 years) in field or an advanced degree and comparble experience.
-Previous experience Aftermarket or Automotive industry, powertrain preferred.
-Sr Sales rep. must be capable of managing 4-5 distributors and 6-7 countries dealer network and excellence commmunication negotiation skills.
-Excellent written and verbal English proficiency.
-Either Powertrain or Aftermarket experience preferred.
-High Integrity must be required as daily dealing distributors tier customers.
-Position required frequent travel including local and out of country and need acceptance of mobility on travel.
