INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME
The .ZA Domain Name Authority (.zadna) is the regulator and manager of dotZA (.ZA) – South Africa’s Internet namespace. .zadna is a statutory entity founded in terms of Chapter X of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002. Its key responsibility is to license and regulate .ZA registries and registrars, and to develop and implement policy guidelines. More information about .zadna is (email address).
.zadna is launching an Internship Programme that will run for up to twelve (12) months. The programme provides an opportunity to unemployed graduates/diplomates to gain meaningful, practical work experience that will complement the knowledge gained from their studies and equip them to better participate in the labour market.
FIELDS OF STUDY
.zadna is looking for 4 (four) interns. Interested individuals with post-matric qualifications (degree, diploma, certificate) in administration, communications (including public relations), marketing, web development and event management are invited to apply. The selected interns must ideally be available full-time.
WORK COMMENCEMENT AND LOCATION
Selected interns will be required to commence their internship duties no later than 1 October 2016 . They will be based in .zadna’s new business premises (effective from 1 September 2016) at 1st Floor, Sanofi House, 44 on Grand Central Boulevard, Midrand, 1685.
REMUNERATION
Selected interns will each receive an all-inclusive stipend of up to R4 200 (four thousand two hundred Rands) per month.
