Job description
Be responsible for Huawei Optical Transmission Network products and the after-sales technical support (Implementation Maintenance) in the field of Optical Transmission Network networking in South Africa.
Support the customers in all technical aspects and improve the relationship to our main service provider accounts.
Deployment of all types of Optical Transmission Network Elements.
Project implementation/maintenance and technical supervision of subcontractors or service partners.
Level 1/Level 2 technical support service to the customers independently or jointly with a technical support team.
Handle customer service request and track the SLA.
Maintain troubleshoot of optical transmission equipments like WDM, MSTP.
Conduction of trainings for customers, subcontractors or service partners.
Pre-sales support for testing, bidding or holding workshops.
Design communications diagrams and solution based on customer requirements.
Experience
1) Familiar with WDM OTN SDH technology, having knowledge in ITU-T G.707 and G.709
2) Having WDM project delivery or maintenance experience.
3) Familiar with signal analyzer, OSA, Ethernet tester
4) Having Datacom basic knowledge, such Ethernet, IP
5) Understand the procedure of telecommunication project implementation and maintenance procedure.
6) Good service spirit and strong communication ability
7) Good team work and fluent English
Qualification
1) Degree: Bachelor’s degree or above
2) Specialization: Science and technology/Management, Electronics science, Tele-communication, or related specialization.
