Position:Library Assistant

Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Computer literacy
- Relevant experience
Core Responsibilities:
- Render public circulation service to enable users to borrow library media
- Provide basic information and educational support service to meet the information and educational development needs of the community within all sections of library
- Performs library related auxiliary services to meet the needs of the community and do library administration
- Do educational and LIS promotional programmes to enhance community development, educational skills and awareness of libraries
- Performs counter and shelving duties
- Maintains and prepares library media
