A three year National Diploma or Degree in the Humanities or Commence or equivalent qualification.
At least three years practical experience and achievements in the field of stakeholder engagement.
Ability to communicate and engage at all levels with multiple stakeholders such as NGO’s, Government, business partners and Communities.
Experience in reputation management is critical.
Ability to communicate on all levels.
Ability to deliver high quality work withing specified deadlines.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Meticulous and attention to detail.
Sound interpersonal relationship and emotional maturity.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Good public speaking skills.
Good project and community risk identification skills.
A valid Driver’s licence is essential.
Computer literate.
Create and maintain good relations with all three spheres of Government .i.e. Local, Provincial and National Government and all relevant or related stakeholders.
Create and maintain relations with relevant Stakeholders .i. e. Future Forum, Business, NGO’ s and Civil Society Organizations and any other stakeholder with common goals.
Arrange and monitor outcomes and action items of the Monthly Implementing and Quarterly Mandating Committee meetings
Create and maintain relations with relevant Developmental Agencies
Identifying stakeholder engagement opportunities
Recording, tracking and reporting of critical issues arising from Stakeholders and monitor its logical conclusion.
Provide leadership Support for Business and NGOs in the community.
Facilitate and arrange regular and structured meetings with: – Business, NP0s and NGOs through Community
Briefings
Facilitating the development and signing off of relevant Memorandum of Understanding with identified stakeholders
Offer region-wide community and social development support.
Identification, design and development of project opportunities.
Compile present community development proposal to the Sustainability Committee.
Work closely with the Communication department to communicate and profile social development work.
Co-ordination and compilations of weekly and monthly reports and any adhoc reports.
Developing, mentoring and coaching of operation based community and social development officers and direct reports.
Management, review and monitor of direct reports and the budget.
