Three year relevant tertiary qualification in Public Administration / Business Administration/
Public Management / Business Management. Two years functional experience in public
employment services / operations. Knowledge: Immigration Act Employment Service Act
Essential Labour Laws (BCEA, LRA and EEA Public Service Act PFMA. Skills: Verbal
and written communication Interpersonal relations Presentation Computer literacy
Analytical Report writing Leadership.
Duties: Provide technical and administration support for implementation of policies and programmes
of Labour Migration Services in South Africa Support the coordination of stakeholder
relations management within International / Cross Boarder Labour Migration(ICBLM)
stakeholders Render administration support to Labour Migration Adjudication Committee(
LMAC) processes Render assistance in technical support functions to the international /
Cross Boarder Labour Migration ( ICBLM) visa adjudication process Render supervision
services to the clerical functions of the unit.

candidates for SMS posts will be subjected to a technical competency exercise that intends to test relevant
technical elements of the job, the logistics of which be communicated by the Department. Following the interview
and technical exercise, the selection panel will recommend candidates to attend generic managerial
competencies using the mandated DPSA SMS competency assessment tools. Successful candidates will be
appointed on a probation period of 12 months. The Department reserves the right not to make any appointment(s)
to the above post. The successful candidate will be expected to sign a performance agreement. The Department
