Provide a high level of electro-technical support to production areas to ensure that the all production machines and peripheral equipment are functioning and in a good working condition. (This applies to the electrical and electronic functioning of the equipment).
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Provide an electro-technical service to production areas;
• Day to day maintenance of production machines and peripheral equipment;
• Daily inspection of assigned production equipment to ensure that equipment remains in a good running condition;
• Updating production equipment documentation, software and drawings;
• Installing new and upgrade existing equipment;
• Be willing to give training to new technicians and learner technician on fault finding and maintenance of production machines and equipment;
• Complete shift reports, and other administrative tasks;
Essential requirements
• Matric/Grade 12
• National Diploma (S4) Electrical Engineering.
• Sound technical knowledge and ability
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in the FMCG or equivalent business sector.
