Description
The position will provide Supervisory leadership to the Command Center Support Specialists Department in both Diagnostic and LSR disciplines.
- Supervises the Command Center Support Specialist staff to ensure customer needs and expectations are met in a timely manner.
- The incumbent oversees the Command Center facilities ensuring ISO compliance.
- The incumbent will ensure Command Center Specialists compliance training and ISO regulated processes stay current and accurate.
- Involved in the resolution of customers’ problems and issues.
- Establishes goals to meet objectives.
- Drive Danaher PSP and DM initiatives.
- Recommends hiring/firing/disciplinary decisions affecting associates.
- Ensures that staff skills are maintained on a continual basis to support group activities.
- Forecasts/assigns staffing.
- Communicates Field Service activities to Management.
- Monitors operating budget.
- Ensures that Field Service activities comply with group standards and procedures.
- Adheres to policies and procedures.
Preferred Skills:
• Analytical / problem solving skills: able to analyze and understand complex issues and consequently develop plans to capture opportunities, avoid business and customer loses and to visualize customer disengagement trends to escalate to appropriate channels for follow up and resolution.
• Computer applications skills: able to use various computer software tools to analyze, develop and communicate to various internal customers including field service, applications and sales divisions.
• Working knowledge and proven track record of experience working with Oracle / Service and Maintenance software applications an added advantage.
• Self-motivation, good written and verbal communication skills.
• Be punctual and work to deadlines.
• Results and process orientated
• A proven ability to interface with diverse technical disciplines is essential requirements.
Qualifications
• National Diploma/B Tech: Bio-medical technology or equivalent qualification
• Understanding of Oracle / Service and Maintenance
• Microsoft office competent
• Supervisory management experience
• Technically competent with strong people skills to promote teamwork needed to achieve
reliability program objectives; ability to work in team environment.
• Financial acumen and experience in understanding business financials
