Top Electromechanical Industrial Machines firm seeks Highly Skilled Millwright. Electromechanical Machine Installation, Repairs and Fine Tuning.
Non-Negotiables (We will check):
* Pref for Old School Trade Test or Qualification from Top Training Facility
* 10+ years Millwright Experience(Non-negotiable)
* 2+ years Rigging Experience
* Aged 35-45 (Candidates outside this age range will be excluded)
* Adv: Old School Training Preferably in Mining Refineries
* Willing to engage in occasional local and African travel
* Ability to Fulfill a Secondary Sales Role in remote locations
* Strong on Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic Repairs
* Strong with PLC Fault Finding
* High Analytical + Bit of a People Person
* Old School Do it Right Mindset
* Physically presentable (i.e. Professional Dress and Grooming)
What the person must be able to do:
This role is in the Electromechanical Industrial Machines sector. All duties would take place in this context.
* Electromechanical installation, servicing, repairing and fault finding on lifting and rotation equipment
* Mostly Heavy Duty Railway depot and track machinery
* Other types of machines
* Secondary sales role where you convince customers to upgrade equipment. You also visit other customers in remote locations to get more business
Key Job Deliverables:
* Independent Rigging, Installation, Setup and Fine Tuning of New Machines
* Fault Finding and Repairs of Existing Machines
* Fine Tuning and Performance Enhancements of Existing Machines
Background work experience:
* 10+ years Millwright Experience
* 2+ years Rigging Experience
* Can read electrical and PLC drawings
* Trade Test Millwright or Qualification from Top Facility
* Rigging and Installations
* Fault Finding and Repairs (Electrical, PLC, Mechanical, Electromechanical and Hydraulics)
* Ability to Hack a Solution Together in Remote Locations, where the right spares aren’t available
* Ability to correctly diagnose a fault and fix it on the first attempt
* Advantageous: Specific Experience in Railway Track and Depot Machinery
* Highly Advantegeous: LMI(Lifting Machinary Inspector) certification. Can certify jacks.
