Our opportunity
The Zurich Travel
Consultant will be required to handle incoming calls for the Zurich Travel Insurance Helpdesk. Consultant must be skilled to sell Travel Insurance, answer enquires, handle complaints, troubleshoot problems and provide information. Consultant will be responsible to handle email and telephonic communication with clients and customers. Verbal communication and business writing skills are of prime importance for this position.
Your role
Key Tasks Accountabilities
·
Respond to daily calls, emails and client communication
·
Manage calls and email queries to final resolution (including telephonic call backs to customers as required)
·
Handle customer enquiries regarding Travel Insurance
·
Sell customers travel insurance
·
Promote excellent customer service
·
Research required information using available resources
·
Manage and resolve customer complaints where applicable
·
Provide customers with product and service information as required
·
Enter new customer information into system as required
·
Update existing customer information as required
·
Identify and escalate priority issues
·
For claim enquiries – route calls to appropriate resource
·
Follow up customer calls where necessary
·
Document all call information according to standard operating procedures
·
Complete daily reporting requirements to standard operating procedures
Your Skills and Experience
Qualifications/Experience:
·
FAIS accredited
·
Minimum requirement – Matric certificate
·
Travel insurance experience advantageous
·
Call Centre experience is critical
·
Excellent verbal and written skills
·
No criminal record
·
Proficient in relevant computer applications
·
Excellent Business Writing skills
·
Required language proficiency – English
·
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
·
Knowledge of call centre telephony and technology
·
Some experience in a customer service environment
·
Some sales experience a bonus
·
Excellent data entry and typing skills

Additional Information

This role is based at our Head Office (15 Marshall Street, Ferreirasdorp – Johannesburg).

This is a four month temporary contract.
