KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement Capital Programme :

Build an inventory of all projects

Compile and consolidate reports

Ensure that all reports are accurate and consistent

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Applications For Projects :

Facilitate EIA applications for projects

Co-ordinate and monitor the work of Environmental Consultants

Ensure that support tools and admin systems are in place

Ensure timeous and high quality processing of EIA applications

Report on progress

Implementation of Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) :

Co-ordinate and monitor the work activities of learnership contractors and EPWP Personnel

Provide support

Report on progress

Assist on identification of projects for learner contractors

Report EPWP stats on a monthly basis

Implementation of Municipal Infrastructure Grant (MIG) Funded Projects :

Co-ordinate activities

Monitor projects and report on progress

Co-ordinate compilation of business plans

Implementation of Company Projects :

Ensure that project plans are in place

Ensure resources are in place

Monitor and evaluate projects

Report on project performance and progress

Constantly audit projects

Manage Financial System (SAP) :

Provide support to Investment Managers and Project Engineers regarding SAP and project tracker or any other project management system

Create new projects on SAP and resolve issues

Manage consultants and contractors payment certificates workflow

Implementation of Industry Legislative Matters :

Ensure compliance to all relevant legislative requirements

Effective implementation of all legislative requirements

Create awareness

Manage Systems :

Establish project monitoring and reporting templates

Deploy consistent processes, templates and best practices

Provide support to all Users

Ensure systems effectiveness

Manage Subordinates :

Plan, direct supervise work activities of subordinates

Develop the capacity of subordinates

Motivate subordinates

Financial Management :

Plan, manage and monitor budget

Financial reporting

Preparation of Manuals for New Employees :

Prepare manual containing system information, contract management procedure manual, SOPs, etc… for all new Capex employees
