Job Description
- Maintain daily positive bank balance for the Payroll bank accounts by preparing and signing off requisitions
- Ensure the recovery of the company Share subsidy for the medical aid and compulsory death benefit prepared before the 7th of every month
- Ensure utilisation of Spot Covers on Foreign Pensioners are correct and timeous
- Ensure timeous and accurate payments to Foreign pensioners
- Ensure utilisation of Deal numbers for Foreign Suppliers Invoice are correct
- Apply to the Reserve Bank for Authority to effect oversees payments
- Load and verify new and existing Foreign pensioners
- Load and verify new and Existing Foreign pensioners
- Ensure all creditors payments are prepared and paid on the 1st working day of every month
- Prepared and paid Garnishee and Maintenance on the 1st working day of every month
- Prepared and paid company Share on the 1st working day of every month
- Sent proof of payment to variety Department from Standard Bank
- To run the bank account verification process for all workflows
- To update Cash Flow for Aftercare Account.
- Reconcile the Aftercare account and submit by the 8th working day of each month
- To identify foreign pensioners unique numbers and for daily update of the Aftercare Cashbook
- Maintain the Aftercare Cashbook by checking entries and sending Screen to Manager before final reconciliation
- Ensure timeous and accurate Deduction upload and other input for the running of the pensioners payroll
- Submit signed off Reconciliation pack for the Pensioner Dummy Run
- Ensure timeous payment of all Retirements by ensuring daily workflow process prior to the payroll run date
- Ensure timeous of process monthly pension arrears and standalone arrears
- Ensure proper filling system for Metro file for storage and Audit purposes
- To run Standalone arrears where there were system failure / errors and investigate the root cause
- To update notes on ASP online for all workflows processed manual payments
- To prepare , reconcile and pay daily Lumpsum and Arrear payments
- Recall Funds with Standard Bank
- To prepare and pay rejection payments to Standard bank Business Online
- Confirmation of payments telephonically will Beneficiaries and all the South Africa Banks
- Receive, investigate and prepare Historic payments from Social workers and Retirement fund Departmen
- Sent new application forms to Indwe and SanlamSky for members wishing to continue with policies
- Sent new application forms to the medical aid Department
- Liaise with the Fund’s Stakeholders pensioners , 3RD parties and other related financially queries
- Ensure that the tax on Lumpsum amounts are paid timeously to SARS
- Obtain revised IT88 deduction forms from the SARS
- Cross check colleagues work to ensure correctness
- To Stand in for Supervisor and other colleagues in their absence as and when required
- Ensure that 3RD parties Files are checked and loaded on SFTP File
