About the Business Line
Program, Cost, Consultancy
We provide cost and project management services, and specialist consultancy services, to public- and private-sector clients around the world, with a strong presence in Africa, Australia and New Zealand, Europe, the Middle East and the United States.
Job Summary
- Under the supervision of a registered Quantity Surveyor, carrying out the normal duties and functions which occur within a professional Quantity Surveying office. These duties and functions include, inter alia: –
- Preparing estimates of construction costs
- Measurement of building quantities for bill preparation and final accounts
- Drafting Bills of Quantities
- Site visits and site measurement
- Preparing valuations for issue of interim payment certificates
- Assisting with cost management of construction projects
- Preparing and concluding final accounts
- Complying with basic office rules and procedures
- Complying with the procedures laid down by the Association of South African Quantity Surveyors regarding obtaining registration. lt is expected that registration will be obtained at the earliest possible date.
- Attending all in-house seminars and workshops
- Obtaining the required computer literacy and skills
- Working in conjunction with other staff.
- Ensuring compliance with the firm’s quality management systems, including establishing a full knowledge of the quality and practice manuals.

- Willing to travel out of the country
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience.

- Registered as candidate with SACQSP
