Two Family Support Worker needed – Gumtree.co.za

The Centre for Justice and Crime Prevention- Family Preservation Project is currently looking to employ Two FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER .

Qualification:

• Matric or equivalent accredited Community Development Certificate

• Have knowledge of Basic Counseling skills,

• To be fluent in Afrikaans and English. Xhosa will be advantageous

Knowledge

• Have of Developmental approach, Family Preservation Model, Developmental Stages of Children, Children’s Act and theory appropriate social development.

Experience

• Working with families at risk

• Facilitation skills of groups for children, youth, and adults

• Public speaking
