Safely operate steam plant, air plant, CO2 plant, refrigeration plant, water plant and associated equipment efficiently.
Brewery quality standards and quantity requirements on time as per the scheduled production plan.
Competence Requirements
Minimum Valid Matric or Equivalent, a National Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical Engineering would be
advantageous.
Previous experience in a process controlled manufacturing environment, ideally in food FMCG products.
Experience in Utilities would be an advantage.
Future advancement would require obtaining an additional NQF3 and/or NQF6 qualifications
Output and Accountabilities
OPERATE PLANT AND PROCESS
Prepare plant for start-up, shutdown, running, etc;
Operate machine and monitor the process;
Apply problem solving techniques to out of control triggers
In-depth cleaning of the plant;
Assist other Operators;
ASSET CARE
Perform autonomous maintenance (Level 1-Level 4)
Record and communicate breakdown information;
QUALITY
Sample, measure and record quality outputs (non-destructive QC
analysis);
WORK IN TEAMS
Communicate effectively in the workplace;
Contribute to self and team development;
Participate in Level 1 team goals;
ENSURE A SAFE, HEALTHY AND RISK FREE WORKING ENVIRONMENT
