We are looking for a Designer/Creative intern with a passion for jewellery. To work approximately 5 days a week in the trendy Primrose Hill area. This will be an exciting chance to be a part of a fast growing and award winning jewellery business. The intern will gain valuable work experience within a lively design office, working alongside the Creative Director.
Some of your daily tasks will include:
- You will work with the creative director developing designs from sampling to production.
- Creative research for the upcoming collections, collaboration and special projects.
- Creating design spec sheets (using programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator).
- Preparing graphic material for various purposes (website, newsletters, social networks, stockists’s requests)
- Help with events and exhibitions
Qualifications:
- Design qualification preferably fashion or jewellery (either a current student or a graduate) with a passion and enthusiasm related to fashion jewellery
- Strong visual communication skills, jewellery making skills as well as Illustrator and Photoshop proficiency and good hand drawing.
- Knowledge and experience using CAD
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and flexible
- 3 months commitment
The ideal candidate needs to have a fashion or jewellery design background with passion and enthusiasm related to fashion jewellery, jewellery making skills as well as Illustrator and Photoshop proficiency and good hand drawing.The ideal candidate would also be flexible with time schedule and organised. Full time is preferred, but also Part time is negotiable. There is the possibility of a job position following the internship.
