Infestation, one of Cape Town’s leading design and communication agencies, are looking for a new account manager. In our ideal world our new person is a mid-senior client service star with a stellar track record, a passion for creative, a deep understanding of client relationships, and an appreciation for the simple things in life.
The primary outcome of your job will be to optimise our clients’ expectations by facilitating print and digital design briefs through our busy, agile studio. You will hit the ground running with your sound experience and a clear understanding of our industry and the business of visual communications. You will also be innovative, highly organised, whip smart and a lover of coming up with single-minded client solutions.
At our studio, we don’t work in silos and often overlap when it comes to creative, strategy, client service, project management and the day-to-day running of our business. Our new person will have a strong relational focus to ensure our clients are happy, while excellent project management skills will be deployed to ensure work is streamlined, and a pragmatic organised side will come naturally to administrate the whole process.
Your daily routine will include meeting with clients, taking briefs, managing a variety of suppliers and creatives, preparing quotes and proposals, scheduling work with the operations manager and other suppliers, preparing in-depth job reports, looking for business development opportunities, administrating projects through Chase CMS and facilitating job progress from start to finish.

This is a full time position, starting in February 2016 or ASAP.

Requirements:
We are looking for an account manager that:
Can represent our high value clients and not be intimidated by their status
Knows how to handle difficult and demanding clients sheltering the studio without making the clients feel unappreciated
Can have strategic planning discussions with clients engaging them with an in-depth understanding of our services and value
Builds relationships externally and internally
Has presence that reflects our agency worth
Can project-manage jobs effectively and profitably
Has at least four years of experience in the field of design and/or advertising
Has impeccable attention to detail and is highly organised
Knows Chase (imperative!)
Is a team player
Has a love and understanding for all things digital and design
