The purpose of the role
In this role you will be responsible for responsible for developing and delivering high quality, customer centric, financially astute marketing strategy and communication activities for our retail customers.
Your responsibilities:
- Minimum 7 Years’ Senior Marketing Management Experience
- Determine growth opportunities according to segment strategic objectives to support priority themes across acquisition, growth and retention
- You will take business objectives and work closely in a cross-functional analytical and marketing team to design direct marketing activity, thought leadership and sales enablement campaigns
- You will brief creative agencies on requirements, developing and reviewing copy and designs – where required, obtaining signoffs from relevant parties
- Design marketing communication that is aligned to test-and-learn processes and environment
- You will engage with Product, Segment Compliance teams to obtain relevant offers, and incentives to drive action
- Develop channel specific content and messaging in consultation with channel specialists
- You will work closely with the Analytics team to identify, size and prioritise opportunities in line with business strategy
- You will build, own and manage project plans and working groups to ensure the delivery of programs of work to deadline and quality
- Monitor program effectiveness, providing continuous improvement recommendations to improve customer experience, business results, program scheduling, and deeper customer relationships
- Regularly optimise the design, content, targeting, and messaging of multi-step, multi-channel customer offering.
- You will be an experienced data-driven Marketing Manager who has a track record of delivering marketing activity across direct and digital formats.
- You will also have experience which highlights a strong focus on Digital, CRM, One to One Direct and Solutions Based Marketing.
- You will need to be self-motivated and driven by data to actively measure and report results.
- You will need to be driven to try new approaches to marketing, focused on speed to market and love working in collaborative teams with analysts and product.
What will make you successful
- You have experience turning data into insights that demonstrate understanding of customer needs.
- You have prior experience in data driven marketing (direct mail/eDM) campaigns and demonstrated ability to identify and execute on opportunities
- You have a deep understanding of levers that influence response and conversion rates
- You have prior experience in C2B financial services marketing or other related B2B industries
- You have proven written communication ability with strong copywriting experience
- You have proven project management skills and ability to build project plans to deliver to timing and objectives
- You have prior experience working with creative agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Experience working with Agile Operating model ideal, but not required.
