Director of Marketing

To oversee all marketing areas including branding and PR, and is responsible for the strategic implementation of initiatives, restaurant marketing development, new restaurant opening development, loyalty program and marketing budget. The Director of Marketing will be responsible for fostering communication between the corporate support office, management, and restaurant locations.

The Company
A restaurant group located in Bahrain with international expansion plans over the next few years. The next site is opening in London in 2017.
The Role Key Output
● Overseeing and developing marketing programs including marketing support processes,
development of field staff, marketing planning, customer analytics, reporting, budgeting,
reconciliation, operations collaboration, ROI analysis, field rollouts, training, ensuring
these areas are developed and rolled out collaboratively with the Owner/CEO
● Managing media plan for regions, calendar and broadcast initiatives. Includes outdoor,
print and nontraditional advertising opportunities
● Reviewing and reporting analytics for website, social media, digital advertisements,
campaigns and various promotions. Developing and overseeing customer analytics for
acquisition and retention, program cost management, KPI’s, customer engagement and
sales insights.
● Assessing loyalty programs success vs goals
The Person
● Minimum 5 years marketing experience in leadership positions
● Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in business, marketing or related major
and a Masters degree in Marketing, Communications preferred
3-5 years overall marketing experience in a growing concept preferred
● Prior hospitality/restaurant marketing experience highly desired
● Fully versed in SEO best practices and analysis of web and social medial channels
● Proficient in web analytics tools and database technologies
● Strong background in ecommerce and creative campaign management preferred
● Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced,
deadline driven environment
● Must be self-motivated and detail oriented and have passion for the industry
● 3+ years experience in loyalty program management/marketing highly preferred
● Ability to travel to visit restaurants, manage photo/video shots, with contacts in each
market and drive marketing agendas
