Apprentice electricians are people who are on their first step toward becoming fully licensed and capable journeyman electricians. The Apprenticeships are a blend of classroom and paid, on-the-job training. Typically, this will be divided between hours in the classroom (Theory) and hours on the job (Practical), and last 3 years. Apprentices learn theory, mathematics, how to read blueprints and schematics, state and local electrical codes, safety, and more. Most industries rely on a form of Electrical systems and Electrical engineering is thought to be one of the most diverse of all engineering disciplines. This is a 2 year program where incumbents will be afforded both class room (Theory) and on- the-job training (Practical) and will be given an opportunity to attain an electrical trade test certificate.
Due to this, and the shortage of skilled labor we face in SA, My client is offering 15 X Electrical Apprenticeships.
