The Motsepe Foundation has announced that for the 2016 academic year, the will award bursaries to needy and deserving students for assistance in furthering their studies.
The Motsepe Foundation congratulates all of the 2015 Matriculants who have successfully obtained their National Senior Certificates.
The Motsepe Foundation has previously funded 360 students who were awarded bursaries in 2014 to study at various academic institutions throughout South Africa.
The Motsepe Foundation has announced that for the 2016 academic year, it will award bursaries to students around the country. You can either download the bursary application form here or obtain it in your local area as the foundation said they are working with local structures to make sure people access the application forms.
Students who wish to be considered for a bursary for the 2016 academic year are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to the 26 District Municipality/ Metro-Motsepe Foundation Development Forums which have been established around the country.
The closing date for the submission of applications is 15 January 2016.
Basic requirements
Have achieved Educational/ Academic Excellence;
Come from families in need;
Students who wish to pursue other fields of study, and who have excellent academic results will also be considered.
