Registered Social Worker – Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre

A faith based drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre in the east of Pretoria requires a registered social worker to begin 1 December 2015. Duties will include counselling in and outpatient service users, assisting service users who have children and those who have legal issues, group facilitation, policy and programme development, attendance of meetings, accurate record keeping, report writing. Requirements: registered with SACSSP, valid driver’s license, computer literate, fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans), ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team, must demonstrate initiative and be able to work under high stress. Preference will be given to candidates with previous addiction experience and only short listed candidates will be contacted.
