Remuneration:
Cost to Company salary will be R10,000 to R15,000 per month.
+ Commission +The use of a company laptop computer

Purpose of the Job:
Sells products of the Company to authorized business and industrial establishments or individuals at sales office, store or showroom

Main Functions:
• Responsible for achieving sales, revenues and profitability targets within the allocated client base or area as defined by the company using email, SMS and telephonic mediums.
• Responsible for identifying and developing new clients deemed as suitable for the company within the allocated client base or area.
• Provide regular feedback and reports as defined by relevant ISO procedures and by the responsible Sales Manager on activity within the specified client base or area.
• Participate in the presentation of potential solutions to clients and negotiate Service Level Agreements in line with company policies, to meet the client’s requirement and expectations.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans in the allocated client base or area to accommodate Company objectives, targets and budgets.
• Review market analysis to determine customer needs, and recommend price schedules and discount rates
• Delivers sales presentations to clients and displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalogue, and emphasizes saleable features.
• Regularly makes contact with clients, assisting them with sales quotes, literature, technical support, marketing material and training.
• Monitors and evaluates competition activities and products.
• Ensures calendar / CRM system updated with all client contact details and client activities within the branch. This includes details of contact persons, positions held, influence and decision-making level.
• Ensures effective use of sales tools provided by the Company. These could be marketing, product or business related tools.
• Forecasting of current and future potential business within the client base including product category by vendor in conjunction with the Sales Manager
• Schedule correspondence with clients using email, sms and telephonic mediums in line with the company and client requirements to ensure consistent contact and knowledge transfer through to closure of the sale.
• Provide effective delivery of training within the client base or area
• Assist where needed in the preparation of client quotations in line with company ISO procedures and relative Service Level Agreements
• Monitor debtors together with finance department and sales manager to ensure timely collection of outstanding monies in line with Company policies and procedures. Provides immediate feedback to the debtors and finance departments with regards to any change in the clients’ status or ownership.
• Attend trade shows and product launches as scheduled by the company
• Work with all company personnel responsible for the on-going quality service as required by the client – Management team, product managers, technical consultants, sales consultants, counter sales, procurement, warehousing, operations, finance and administration
• Ensure ISO procedures with respect to pricing policy, discounts and SLA agreements are adhered to
• Attend meetings as stipulated or scheduled by the companys Management team
• Solves technical queries on products; by providing telephonic support.
• Gives afterhours support to clients, where necessary.
• Assists fellow Sales Representatives with the support of their clients during illness, annual leave or general unavailability.
• Assists with all Stock Takes
• Assists the Branch Administrator in the management of all slow moving, excess and redundant stock.
• Assists the Branch Administrator with monthly stock forecasting.
• Maintains ISO Compliancy.

Requirements:
• Matric
• Sales related qualification and/or training will be an advantage
• One to three years experience in the security industry.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Must be computer literate.
• Current valid driver’s license
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic reasoning ability.
• Alarms/Access Control, Fire and CCTV Technical and Sales experience.
• Proven Sales Track history.
