Learning & Development Facilitator- 12 months contract – KPMG Services Limited

KPMG is in the process of delivering a significant number of learning hours as part of the Transnet engagement.

Learning Development is offering a 12 months secondment for an experienced facilitator to join our team to assist us in this effort. The secondment will therefore be focussed mainly on managing and delivering of programmes to staff from Transnet and other stakeholders such as Nkonki and SekelaXabiso.

The role will also include delivery of internal KPMG workshops as part of the LD training calendar in Southern Africa.

This is a learning opportunity for both the candidate and our client!

Key job duties or responsibilities:
Courses to present

·

Soft skills workshops

·

Advisory skills programmes

·

Business development curriculum

Project management

·

Working closely with the Supplier Development team to ensure we meet the necessary milestones

·

Regular communication with the external parties

·

Regular communication with the KPMG facilitators from LD as well as the other BU’s involved in the learning hours commitment

·

Involvement in:
o

Setting dates as part of the annual LD calendar for these courses based on volumes and locations identified

o

Working with the course administrators to book venues, canteen, printing and trainers

o

Review the course evaluations, update material when necessary and provide feedback to the trainers

o

Host any Specific Train the Trainers for these courses when required

o

Analyse the budget versus actual costs for these courses

Critical Technical Skills and competencies

Demonstrate broad business thinking and sound commercial judgement in generating plans to add value for LD stakeholders

·

Ability to work collaboratively with a range of business and LD practitioners in order to achieve objectives

·

Drive forward pragmatic and creative solutions which strengthen business performance. Propose realistic, creative solutions and improvements to current practices

·

Excellent presentation and facilitation skills. Enthuses, motivates and generates commitment from others through style of communication

·

Knowledge and appreciation of different cultural backgrounds and diversity of participant and stakeholder groups

·

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to make complex situations clear, simple and understandable for others

·

High levels of resilience and agility

·

Recognise the importance of continuous self-development and actively strives to achieve this

·

Displays excellent project management skills to deliver high quality work on time and to budget

·

Self starter

·

Qualifications and experience

·

Post graduate qualification

·

Accredited trainer

·

Project management

·

Extensive proven facilitation and presenting experience

·

At least 3 years of relevant working experience
