Recruitment Assistant
We are an established HR Consulting business that forms part of a larger group called Digicall Solutions. We have been in business for approximately 10 years, have 10 offices both nationally and internationally and service a large client base of companies of various sizes.
Purpose of the Role:
To assist the Head of Recruitment and the Recruitment Consultants to deliver a recruitment service to clients by sourcing and placing candidates in jobs.
Specific Responsibilities:
Writing and placing recruitment advertisements, taking calls and screening candidates telephonically and making recommendations on which candidates to shortlist
Conducting searches on various databases and social media sites to source candidates for positions
Proactively searching, approaching and networking for candidates (headhunting)
Mapping the market and building search lists by identifying all skills within a certain segment
Compiling research reports for clients
Setting up candidate interviews
Preparing CVs, writing candidate profiles and sending these to clients
Obtaining feedback on CVs from clients and setting up client/candidate interviews (co-ordination of process to ensure candidates arrive timeously at client interviews and are well prepared)
Collection of feedback on interviews from clients/candidates
Provision of feedback to candidates on interview process outcomes
Conducting reference checks on candidates, and conducting credit and criminal checks when requested
Updating and keeping in touch with candidates on the database
Ad hoc provision of statistics to clients when requested
Handling all administration in relation to the recruitment function (including loading CVs onto database)
Maintaining and enhancing standardised and formalised database
Reviewing, suggesting and implementing changes to systems and processes
Running with any special project work as required
Any other reasonable request that may be made in order to deliver a service to clients
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Degree in Human Resources
1-2 years relevant exposure within the working world ie completed internship, HR administration, internal sales etc
Competencies:
