As an Assistant Store Manager, you will:
Execute the company’s operational strategic objectives
Exercise exceptional entrepreneurial and commercial thinking to effectively drive sales
Identify new business opportunities
Demonstrate mature leadership skills including the ability to attract, hire, retain and engage the team
Develop a high performance team and culture, focusing on ownership, accountability and performance
Drive performance in line with company values
Drive the successful implementation of the customer journey philosophy
Deliver targeted turnover- and profit growth
Manage visual merchandise principles
Manage annual operational budget
Consistent delivery of all agreed KPI’s including sales and profit growth, ROAM, new accounts, rewards, expenses-to-turnover ratio and shrinkage
To be considered for the role, you need amongst other things:
A minimum 3 years working experience in a store/assistant management level (leader of others – 20mil+ annual turnover)
Must have been part of a management structure in a large store
Matric is essential
A relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous but not essential
Proven ability to drive and successfully execute robust retail operations strategies
Strong planning and organizing skills, delegation and follow through
Proven ability to develop relationships with various internal- and external business partners
Proven ability to drive change, persuade and influence both internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrate a high level of maturity, emotional intelligence and insight into diverse teams and individuals
Strong written and verbal communication at all levels of organization
Analytical skills
Understanding of ER knowledge
A passion to be a part of a leading men’s fashion brand
