To advise business and employees on Labour related issues, highlighting the risks to the business and employees alike whilst ensuring that business needs are ultimately achieved.To provide advice to business with the aim of mitigating litigation risk across all Liberty operations.

To create and continually update framework and processes and ensure that they are aligned with legislation.

To provide training and development regarding labour law processes and internal policies to line management and Human Resources practitioners.

To monitor effective labour relations within the business.

Key Responsibilities – To represent the organisation at private arbitrations and CCMA and ensure that the best interest of the company is achieved.

  • To provide training and development regarding labour law processes and internal policies to line management and Human Resources practitioners.
  • To monitor effective labour relations within the business.
  • To effectively assist the organisation in restructuring exercises.
  • To develop and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships in order to achieve strategic objectives.
  • To continually keep abreast of changing legislation and case law and its impact on the business.

Qualifications – B Social Sciences qualification with a focus on Labour Law/Labour Relations.

  • LLB will be a strong advantage.

Experience – 1 to 3 years Experience of Labour Law negotiation and Dispute Resolution

  • Having practiced as an Attorney in a legal setting
