Description
· Supervises the field service staff in a defined region to ensure customer needs and expectations are met in a timely manner.
· The incumbent oversees the installation and maintenance of instrumentation and systems in a laboratory environment, ensuring service revenue sales targets, strong contract retention and warranty conversion goals are met.
· Involved in the resolution of customers’ problems and issues.
· Establishes goals to meet objectives.
· Recommends hiring/firing/disciplinary decisions affecting employees.
· Ensures that staff skills are maintained on a continual basis to support group activities.
· Forecasts/assigns staffing.
· Communicates Field Service activities to Management.
· Monitors operating budget.
· Ensures that Field Service activities comply with group standards and procedures.
· Manages relationships with vendors, consultants, contractors and professional associations.
· Adheres to policies and procedures.
· Self-motivation, good written and verbal communication skills.
· Be punctual and work to deadlines.
· Results and process orientated
· A proven ability to interface with diverse technical disciplines is essential requirements.
Qualifications
· B.Tech Electronic Eng / Bio-medical technologist diploma or equivalent
· Understanding of Oracle / Service and Maintenance
· Microsoft office competent
· Supervisory management experience
· Technically competent with strong people skills to promote teamwork needed to achieve reliability program objectives; ability to work in team environment.
· Financial acumen and experience in understanding business financials
