Performance Standard:
• All work is carried out in an organised and efficient manner and within the allocated time frame
• Any client problems/complaints are immediately referred to a relevant member of supervision/management
• Appearance is in accordance with standards
• Assistance is provided to new and existing colleagues and staff
• Cash-up balances
• Cash-up is performed in accordance with standard procedures
• Clients are dealt with in a friendly and courteous manner
• Clients are greeted in a polite and friendly manner
• Colleagues and staff are treated in a polite and helpful manner at all times
• Colleagues, staff and superiors report harmonious relationships
• Correct uniform is worn and uniform is clean and undamaged
• Food display areas are hygienically clean and stocked in accordance with required standards
• Hygiene procedures are observed at all times in accordance with Audit standards.
• Items sold are rung up correctly on the till
• Management report efficient liaison
• Personal hygiene is maintained according to standards
• Receipts are issued to clients
• Safety hazards are identified and reported to the supervisor immediately
• Storage areas are secured against unauthorised access
• Sufficient stock of work tools is available
• Supervisor is informed about activities, progress and results
• Suspicious items are immediately reported to management
• The till is operational
• Till is handed over to next shift or switched off on closure of day
• Work area and till is ready for service times
• Working area and till are secured against unauthorised access
• Working area is clean and hygienic

Qualifications and Experience:
• Grade 12
• Working experience in a Catering environment
