1. Receiving of seed and chemicals stock, Synchronizing the physical quantity with the accompanying paper work.
2. Ensuring that seed retention sample of each lot number of the stock received is taken and kept at a temperature controlled room on receipt of stock.
3. Maintaining the stores by ensuring that good housekeeping within the stores is kept.
4. Daily monitoring of seed store temperature and reporting of any out of spec. events.
5. Issuing stock to customers/user.
6. Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse, coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
7. Creating customer distressed/return sales orders on seed stock; creating seed sample order for internal customers.
8. Invoicing customers on bulk-bin hire.
9. Attending to internal and external queries regarding seed and chemical issues.
10. Conducting monthly/weekly stock takes on seed and chemicals.
11. Monthly reporting on seed and chemicals.
12. Liaising with the harvesting team supervisors and processing departments in compiling the daily coordination reports.
13. Tracking/monitoring diesel utilization i.e. total received, month and season to date total utilized, usage per hectare.
14. Updating the management team of the progress in planting and harvesting departments i.e. daily, season and month to date hectares harvested, tonnage per hectare, machinery utilization.
15. Receiving of engineering spares.
16. Issuing of spares to internal customers.
17. Monitoring, maintaining, inputting data and coordinating with the buyer for reordering of non-SAP materials.
18. Maintains inventory by conducting stock take/cycle counts and reconciling variances.
19. Making monthly Marble Hall diesel slip recon for ABSA fleet statements.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirement is a storekeeping/warehousing Diploma
Grade12 is essential
Good basic accounting reconciliation experience.
Computer literate. SAP, Excel, Power Point and Word.

ears experience in a fast moving warehousing environment is needed
1 year experience in a technical field is recommended.
